Scotland, you are quite simply wonderful! It doesn’t matter what weather passes through, the scenery remains absolutely breath-taking, and Friday was no different.
We had a mix of blustery cool winds, a very warm sun, brief rain showers, and an ever-changing landscape, as clouds and sunshine made the colours look like they were dancing for us. Beautiful!
Clachnaben Circuit was a new route for all the ladies who joined me for Usana Mindset’s Walk & Talk in the Hills outing, and it was a thoroughly enjoyable few hours out, where also special furry friends Tymbl and Skirrid proved much fun and fantastic company!
With so much going on in each of our lives, it was refreshing for us all to be away from the contact to the outside world, instead focused on the moment, sharing, laughing, and freeing our minds from stresses and wonders. Instead, by the end of the walk, we were refreshed, wind blown(!!) and clear on the path forward.
It was also wonderful to take our time, determined not to rush and also enjoy a seat to admire the scenery, with some rest points also including cake treats thanks to Oyin at O’Cayxk!
Oyin has since sent a beautiful testimonial, after her most recent Walk & Talk outing:
“Last Friday, I was part of a group that joined Gillian at Clachnaben for the walk & talk session. It was a great start to the weekend. It was the 3rd walk I’ve done with Gillian. They are both physically and mentally exhilarating, and has definitely ignited my love for my outdoors.
A lot of us can be so engrossed with work & can’t seem to take a quality break, walks with Gillian are just a few hours or day long, depending on the walk, but it leaves you mentally and physically refreshed.
Her 1-2-1 chats during the walks help you think deeply and outside the box. I’ll 100% recommend Gillian’s walk & talk sessions to anyone looking for a wee break from the busyness of life.“
Heading out into nature for such a special walk, which combines coaching and wellbeing, headspace and insights, gives the space to recharge and rebalance, whilst also giving fresh perspective on moving forward. And we now also have further special memories that will last forever.
Thank you Oyin, Debbie and Caroline for such a lovely outing, and of course Tymbl and Skirrid! I look forward to many more.
