What happens when you take time out for yourself? Your mind, body and soul gets the chance to recharge and bring a spring back to your step … as we all felt on Friday as a result of the latest Usana Mindset Walk & Talk in the Hills outing.

Gannoch and Tampie form a lovely circular walk, starting from Birse Forest, Aberdeenshire, where the scenery is breathtaking in every direction. This was a new walk for all, and it was a privilege to be take Laura, Simon, Iain and Alison out for what was a blustery yet sunny few hours in the hills.

Private and group discussions were enjoyed as always, with some deeper reflections and insights being a surprise at times. There was many smiles, laughter, shared stories, and of course, so many piccies as keepsakes. There was also some teasing over how many steep sections were ahead and the little streams to be stepped over (well, I can’t remember the numbers all the time!!).

There was certainly much banter from all, which has included establishing new code names for when a break to catch the breath is required, toilet stops and a cuppa (these daft names will be revealed on each walk and no doubt more added!) – the pose nickname of ‘striking an Oyin’ has already been named after another regular client!๐Ÿ˜

Clients may join the Walk & Talks as strangers, but most certainly end the day as friends. It’s a beautiful share and experience, and adds to the magic of the outings, which combine coaching, wellbeing and nature. ๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ
